Naming TVs and Inputs

Name TVs as Bedroom TV or Lounge TV, not TV Bedroom or TV 1. Name sources as Main Sky or Primary DVD, not Sky 1 or Sky 2.

Alexa distinguishes commands by their first few syllables, not their last. "TV 1" and "TV 2" sound almost identical to Alexa because the only difference is right at the end — Alexa may not reliably tell them apart. "Bedroom TV" and "Lounge TV" differ from the very first syllable, so Alexa can distinguish them easily.
